Hajj Online Application Form 2023; On Saturday it was announced by Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi who is our Union Minister of Minority Affairs that certain changes have been made regarding the Haj pilgrimage due to the coronavirus pandemic. This announcement by the government is really good news for the Muslim community in India. For Muslims, Haj is the Holiest place in their religion that one must visit once in a lifetime. The Government recently started the online process of registration for the citizens to go to Haj Pilgrimage. The online applications will be accepted by 5th February 2023, but due to the ongoing pandemic strict rules and regulations will be followed by the pilgrims regarding the pandemic.

Hajj Yatra
Haj is a holy place for all Muslims around the world and they wish to visit this place once in their lifetime. This place gives the opportunity to Muslim pilgrims to be closer to God by visiting this place as it is believed by them that hajj retraces the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad.
Hajj Yatra Eligibility and Cost
The applicants of the hajj yatra must go through the eligibility guidelines in order to know that if they are eligible to go to the hajj or not
- The citizens who have previously visited the Haj are restricted to apply again
- The pilgrim should be physical and mentally fit
- Women in the advanced stage of pregnancy and people with long-term illness are not allowed to visit Haj
- The criminal as held by the government and international criminals as well are not allowed to visit Haj
- The applicants are required to pay 300 rupees and it is not refundable
- Only Muslims can apply for the Haj Yatra on the official website
This year due to the pandemic the number of pilgrims to Haj will be reduced as compared to the previous year. The expenditure of Haj yatra might also increase from Rs 2,50,000 to Rs 3,75,000 as announced by the CEO Dr MA Khan.

This year there are 10 embarkation points for haj flight earlier it was 21. The list of the embarkation points is given below-

How to Apply for Hajj Online 2023
To complete the application for Haj Registration follow these steps
- Go to New Registration on the official website
- Select apply option from ‘HAJ FORM’
- A screen will appear and click on the ‘NEW USER REGISTRATION’
- Fill out the registration form with the details required
- Applicants should choose a strong password
- Enter the security code and recheck your details
- Click on Submit button
- On successful submission, a system generated OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to Mobile Number
- Activate user-id by entering OTP then click on ‘’SUBMIT’’ option
- Enter the registered Mobile number and password
- Fill out the form with the details that are required
- Click on the right category
- Select the number of adults
- Click on the next button
- Fill all the details and especially the one with * marked
- After entering all the details click on ‘SAVE AND NEXT’
- Upload the required documents that are necessary
- Select the pilgrim’s option from drop-down menu
- Click on Browse and upload the documents
- including photos of JPG/JPEG format and from 10 kb to 100 kb as given
- After selecting your documents and files click on the upload button
- Make the payment through the online options given
- Click on Final Submission
- Take out the printout of the application form
